Shimizu Port is one of the three major beautiful ports in Japan. It is close to downtown Shizuoka. You can take a ferry to visit the port. Enjoy the view of the port, taste the freshest catch, and admire the spectacular Mount Fuji not far away. In spring, Kawaji Sakura wakes up from the cold of winter and welcomes the arrival of spring with pink petals. Every year Kawajin holds a cherry blossom festival, so that this early cherry tree will bring the message of spring to everyone. In the best viewing season, about 800 cherry blossoms on both sides of the Hejin River are in full bloom, decorating the banks of the river extremely beautifully.
Visit a traditional house in rustic Shizuoka countryside, try green tea, visit a famous Shinto Shrine as well as a UNESCO World Heritage Site , and wrap up your day shopping in a large mall nearby Shimizu Port. Ideal for cruise ship passengers but also recommended for those paying a visit to Shizuoka and the surrounding area.

Mihono Matsubara is a scenic beach area that offers fantastic views of Mt. Fuji. End your excursion in a large, colorful shopping mall near Shimizu Port. Do some shopping, check out Sushi Museum, and indulge in an array of flavors in numerous cafes and restaurants.

9:40 - 10:20 am Moriuchi Tea Farm: taste different types of tea, try hand-kneading of frozen steamed tea leaves.
10:40 - 11:40 am Visit Sengen Jinja Shinto Shrine - a collective name for a complex of three shrines, of special importance for the Tokugawa family as well as Tokugawa government, as a sacred place where Ieyasu Tokugawa, the founder of Tokugawa Shogunate and first shogun, had his coming-of-age ceremony here.
12:00 - 1:00 pm Local lunch at a traditional Japanese restaurant.
1:40 - 2:10 pm Visit to Mihono Matsubara, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which offers views of Mt. Fuji.
2:30 - 4:00 pm S-Pulse Dream Plaza shopping mall, return to Shimizu Port.
