Maizuru City, known as "Kyoto of the Sea", is a city facing the Sea of Japan. It was a military port of the old navy and prospered by quickly absorbing modern culture. Now, 120 years later, Maizuru City retains many buildings from that time, centered on the red brick building that was originally an old naval facility. There is also a base of the Maritime Self-Defense Force, and you can get a close-up view of Aegis battleships, frigates and other ships that cannot be seen elsewhere. You can take beautiful photos of red brick buildings and warships with the blue sea as the background, or you can try something new at the fishing port. Seafood and other tourism options are really great!
*We may visit three out of the above four attractions based on the hours your ship stays in Maizuru.
* We will not visit the World Brick Museum, which is boring to show you the special bricks.

From a distance, they seem to be floating on the sea. The unique scenery attracts many tourists. One of the reasons to visit.
