The Adventure Begins
Welcome to Japan!
Welcome to Tokyo! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met with an English-speaking assistant holding a sign with your name on it. Together with the driver, they will take you to the hotel in downtown Tokyo.

With an English-speaking guide, explore Tokyo using public transportation like locals. Begin at the serene East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, offering insight into Japan’s imperial history. Continue to Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo’s oldest Buddhist temple, where incense-filled air and traditional shopping streets create a lively cultural atmosphere.
The highlight of the day is an engaging sumo experience, specially designed for international visitors. Enjoy a hearty sumo-style lunch (chanko-nabe) while watching a live demonstration by former professional sumo wrestlers. Learn about the rules, rituals, training life, and traditions of Japan’s national sport, with opportunities for audience interaction, photos, and Q&A—making this both an educational and entertaining experience for all ages.
Return to the hotel after a full day of discovery and shared family moments.

Begin with a guided walking tour of Tsukiji Market, discovering Japanese food culture, seasonal ingredients, and local specialties. Enjoy a fun Cartoon Car experience, offering a playful perspective of the city. Visit Meiji Shrine, set within a peaceful forest in the heart of Tokyo, before ending the day at teamLab Roppongi, where immersive digital art installations create a visually stunning and interactive experience especially popular with families and graduates.

Transfer privately to Tokyo Station and board the Shinkansen bullet train to Kyoto, experiencing Japan’s world-famous high-speed rail. Upon arrival, a driver will transfer you to your hotel. The afternoon is free to explore Gion, Kyoto’s historic geisha district, ideal for relaxed strolling, traditional architecture, and memorable family photos.

With your guide, visit Fushimi Inari Taisha, famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates. Walk part of the scenic forested trail up Mount Inari and enjoy a gentle bamboo forest hike. Continue to the Fushimi sake district, where you’ll learn about Kyoto’s centuries-old brewing tradition and sample or observe the craftsmanship behind Japan’s iconic rice wine.

Discover Kyoto’s cultural treasures starting with Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), one of Japan’s most photographed landmarks. Visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, dedicated to scholarship and learning—especially meaningful for a graduation celebration. Explore Nishiki Market, known as “Kyoto’s Kitchen,” with time to sample snacks and shop for souvenirs. End the day with a fun and interactive ninja experience, combining history, performance, and hands-on participation.

Visit Nara Park, home to hundreds of free-roaming deer considered sacred messengers in Shinto tradition. Enjoy time walking through the spacious park while interacting with the gentle deer, who are famous for bowing in exchange for special deer crackers (shika senbei) available locally. Feeding the deer is a fun, memorable experience for both children and adults, creating joyful photo moments and a unique connection to Japan’s cultural heritage.

Enjoy a full free day to explore Osaka at your own pace. Optional activities include Universal Studios Japan, Osaka Castle, shopping districts, food tours, or simply relaxing. This flexible day allows each family member to pursue personal interests while enjoying the city’s vibrant energy.

In the morning, take the Shinkansen back to Tokyo. Upon arrival, a private transfer will take you to the airport for your late-afternoon or evening departure, bringing your family graduation journey through Japan to a smooth and memorable conclusion.
