Join our 16 Days Japan Extensive Tour for an in-depth look at the Land of the Rising Sun. From Tokyo, you'll explore the city's culture, history, entertainment, shopping, and cuisine. Spend a day visiting Nikko, a World Heritage Site. Discover Kamakura's Great Buddha and local delicacies. Explore Kanazawa's most famous attractions as well. You can explore Kenrokuen, one of the top three Japanese gardens in the country, and see the gold leaf crafts. You can visit Kyoto and Nara, historic places in western Japan. Try as much of the local cuisine as you can in Osaka, the gourmet capital of Japan. As well as Hiroshima, you'll see Miyajima Island, which features the floating sacred "torii" gate.

Day 1: Welcoming you to the Land of the Rising Sun! Get transferred to your hotel in Tokyo. The rest of the day is free to relax - you may, for example, explore the bustling Shinjuku area, full of shops and restaurants.
Day 2: Today we will explore the capital. Our first stop is Asakusa. You will see Senso-Ji temple and the entire neighborhood. The temple has maintained a traditional atmosphere reminiscent of old Tokyo, with its craft shops and street food stalls that are not to be missed. Take beautiful souvenir photos at this fascinating part of Tokyo. After visiting the Meiji Shrine, you will explore Harajuku - a famous area for its quirky modern Japanese fashion, design, and architecture. Finally, you will visit Odaiba, an artificial island in Tokyo Bay. During the evening, you'll see the Sumida River, Tokyo as it is illuminated, and the Rainbow Bridge. Additionally, you will visit the spectacular team Lab Borderless digital art museum in Odaiba.

Visit Nikko today, a beautiful mountain area in Tochigi Prefecture, just 2 hours from Tokyo, known for its forests and main attractions. We'll show you what makes Nikko so special. The first is Toshogu Shrine, a mausoleum dedicated to the founder of the last shogunate of Japan, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A 100-meter-high waterfall, the Kanmangafuchi Abyss, and captivating views are also located here. After spending a day in a completely different part of Japan, you will return to Tokyo in the evening.

On this day, you will explore the main attractions of Kamakura, Japan's ancient capital located near the sea. Hachimangu Shrine, one of the largest Shinto shrines in the region, is visible here. You will also visit the unmissable Big Buddha of Kamakura, located in a narrow street filled with souvenir shops and restaurants. You will return to Tokyo tonight.

Day 5: On your way to Kanazawa on the Shinkansen bullet train, visit two more Tokyo neighborhoods, Akihabara and Ginza. It became famous for its electronic stores and iconic Japanese manga (Naruto, One Piece, DragonBall, etc.). Meanwhile, the latter featured luxury commercials and high-end restaurants. Try the ramen noodles in Ginza, which are excellent!
Check into your hotel in Kanazawa and explore the city at your leisure. The Ninjadera Temple, for example, features hidden passages and secret chambers, designed in time to aid the escape of enemies.
Day 6: Today is devoted to exploring Kanazawa, a city rich in history, culture, and art. We began our visit to Kanazawa by visiting the Omicho Market, famous for its quality fish. The rest of the day can be spent visiting the city's most important attractions, including Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden, one of Japan's three most beautiful gardens. Visit the famous Higashi Chaya district, which transports visitors into ancient Japan, and explore the alleyways of the geisha districts and tea houses. There are also beautiful local craft shops using golden leaves to make beautiful souvenirs. You will love Kanazawa's atmosphere!

Day 7. Your guide will accompany you on this day to discover some of the most beautiful gems in the city. You will see some of the most important temples passing through the beautiful streets of the geisha district of Gion. It is famous worldwide for the traditionally preserved wooden structures and small boutiques of local sweets that guide visitors to the Kiyomizudera Temple, one of the most impressive and recognized in all Japan!
Day 8: Your individual visit will include the Golden Pavilion Temple, the old residence of shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, later transformed into a Buddhist temple. The building is covered in golden leaves, which provides a breath-taking experience for anyone who sees it for the first time. Your next stop is a town called Uji, which is famous for its green tea and UNESCO sites. You'll visit the famous Salone Della Fenice here and learn about the Byodoin Buddhist Temple. You'll find national treasures and incredible cultural objects here!
Day 9: Immerse yourself in the Arashiyama bamboo forest and enjoy walking through the famous forest paths. You'll visit the Tenryuji Zen temple, a UNESCO heritage site and an excellent place of perfect peace and tranquility. You'll meet the funny attitudes of the monkeys that freely roam in this natural reserve in Monkey Park!

We are going to explore Nara today. In Nara Park, you'll meet cute deers and visit Todaiji Temple, another treasure of Japan with its Great Buddha Hall. Besides the Isuien Garden, make sure you visit the 5-story pagoda before heading back to Kyoto.

After breakfast, go to Hiroshima to learn more about the city's history. After checking into your hotel, visit the city's most famous sights, such as Memorial Peace Park, Shukkeien Park, and Hiroshima Castle. It has a museum on the history of the castle and of old castles in Japan generally. The observation deck on the top floor offers a panoramic view of the city! Try the local delicacy okonomiyaki, the highlight of Hiroshima's cuisine, on Hondori Street, a road that's closed to traffic and filled with excellent restaurants.

With the JR Pass, you can take the ferry to Miyajima today from Hiroshima. You can enjoy one of the most famous symbols of Japan at Itsukushima Shrine, immersed in a magical atmosphere. Shrines are built in such a way that they float in the water. Enjoy the view from the top of Mount Misen, a cable car ride away if you have time! You will also find the beautiful Daisho-in Buddhist temple at the foot of the mountain.

You will depart today for Osaka. Visit the fantastic attractions this city has to offer after checking into your hotel. Walkthrough Osaka Castle's park and admire the excellent architecture of one of the most famous palaces in Japan. Explore Namba, Shinsekai, and Dotonbori, where you can enjoy the action and regional cuisine renowned throughout the country. There are especially good takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and koshikatsu dishes.

You are visiting Himeji today! You will see the world-famous Himeji Castle, one of Japan's most historically significant castles and the first Japan castle to receive UNESCO Cultural Heritage status. You will also visit the famous Japanese-style garden Kokoen. This beautifully landscaped garden consists of nine interconnected parks where you can enjoy a cup of tea, relax and take in the scenery in peace. If you decide to stop halfway to admire the world's longest suspension bridge before returning to Osaka, you can do so before returning to the city.

Day 15: You can start your day by visiting the beautiful Japanese gardens in the vast, beautifully manicured Gyoen Park. Take in the most panoramic view of Tokyo from the Roppongi Hills observatory in the middle of skyscrapers, from where you can see Mount Fuji in the distance. In the same building, you can also visit the free Mori Art Museum, which exhibits modern Japanese art. During the evening, you will explore the heart of the city's lively and beloved Shibuya with its famous attractions: the statue of the popular dog, Hachiko, and much more!
